Born on December 20, 1962, in Jaipur, India, Ajay's passion for art ignited at a young age, leading him to become an apprentice under the guidance of the esteemed Master Painter Mahendra Sharma.

Throughout his apprenticeship, Ajay diligently studied and practiced the intricate art of miniature painting, honing his skills in pigment mastery, composition, drawing, brush making, and gold leaf application. His expertise extends to various styles of painting, including Mughal, Tantra, Rajput, Kota School, and Jaipur School. Ajay's formidable knowledge and artistic prowess have made him an expert in preservation, conservation, and copy work.

Since 1984, Ajay has been supervising his own studio, where he specializes in creating new miniature and mural paintings. His portfolio includes traditional masterpieces, portrait paintings, commissioned works, and restoration projects. As a dedicated teacher, Ajay has also mentored numerous students, both local and international, imparting his skills and knowledge through individual and group workshops.
